Tuesday morning at precisely eight o'clock Robert arrives at the offices of David Bailey and the friendly secretary Margaret, asks him to go straight through into the barrister's office. There’s but one person in the lawyer's office and it isn't Bailey.
An exceptionally pretty woman rises when Robert enters the office. "Good morning miss?" He inquires friendly and folds his hand around the slender fingers of her hand, while his eyes looks deep into those dark brown eyes of hers.
Beautiful is not a fit word to describe her, Robert realizes. Her teeth shines milk white against the dark tan of her face and she says: "You must be Robert Desmond. I am Michelle Richards. "I am pleased to meet you Michelle," Robert says smiling back at her in his most charming way. The lady replies with a mischievous look in the eye: "I am just as pleased to make your acquaintance Robert" and he falls under her spell.
Robert admires her anew and her scintillating dark brown hair, those roguish dark brown gleaming eyes of hers, the retroussè little nose of hers and her sensual lips set in a oval shaped face tells their own story about her glory. Robert's wandering eyes travels lower to her slim neck, perfectly formed breasts and stunning figure and when she blushes like a shy school girl, Robert realizes that he still has got her hand in his.
What will she think of me staring at her like a hungry wolf, Robert rebukes himself. Suddenly he feels guilty when he thinks about Tracey’s limp body lying on the coffin between the rose petals with her hair spread out like a sleeping Cinderella.
When Michelle sits down in one of the plush chairs in Bailey’s office, she crosses a slender leg over the other and the hem of her mini skirt moves up exposing some thigh. Their eyes meet and there's a kind of electricity in the air between the two of them, a strange kind of magic, which is only broken for a moment when David Bailey's secretary enters with a tray of tea.
Robert rises to take the tray from the secretary and at that same moment Michelle rises and they bump into each other, totally unplanned and for a moment their bodies touch. "I am sorry to inform you that a emergency has occurred and mister Bailey will be delayed for another half an hour. Are you willing to wait or shall I reschedule the meeting?" The secretary wants to know.
The girl answers: "My time is my own. I am willing to wait." "I also have time to kill," Robert answers. Michelle starts pouring the tea while the secretary, leaves the office and closes the door behind her.
While she stirs his tea for him, Michelle's hand starts shaking and some of the tea spills into the saucer. "I am sorry," she says and when he takes the cup and saucer from her their fingers brush against each other’s.
When Robert returns their cups and saucers to the tray she says: "I will read you your fortune if you want me to" and he nods encouraging in her direction.
"I see a man whose life is twisted with heart ache. A man who’s future is in the balance and who's heart in the future is torn between two loves. The one in his memory and the one...” Robert interrupts asking: "And the one that awaits me?" Michelle is forced to smile at Robert's remark and then she exclaims: "Robert you naughty man. You have broken my concentration."
Michelle gets the unreasonable desire to be taken into Robert’s arms and for a second her thoughts is written all over her face. They move closer to each other and his lips move closer to those alluring sensual lips of hers.
"In the immediate future I see a very lovely woman, who really desperately wants to be kissed," Robert says while he looks into her eyes and they are caught in a moment of laughter.
